Project Overview
A U.S. government defense office located within a major Canadian city required a complete modernization of its aging surveillance and security infrastructure after years of system degradation and unreliable performance.
The facility’s legacy analog camera system had become largely non-functional, leaving critical areas with poor visibility and inconsistent coverage. Located in a dense urban environment requiring heightened security, the project needed to be completed quickly while maintaining uninterrupted operations within an active office environment.

Replacing Legacy Security Infrastructure in an Active Urban Facility
One of the most important aspects of the project was modernizing a failing surveillance environment while the facility remained fully occupied and operational.
Rather than performing a phased shutdown or extended renovation process, we coordinated a rapid multi-level deployment that replaced the entire legacy analog system in under one week. The installation required close coordination with building management, secure network isolation, and careful infrastructure planning across office, lobby, and parking environments.
Through this project, we successfully modernized a critical government security environment while maintaining operational continuity, secure communications, and uninterrupted day-to-day facility operations.
The Results
The transformation was immediate.
The previous surveillance system, which had become unreliable and largely non-functional, was replaced with a fully modernized environment delivering clear and dependable video coverage across all operational areas.
For the first time in years, personnel had reliable live surveillance visibility throughout the office, lobby, entrances, and underground parking areas using centralized viewing stations distributed throughout the facility.
Following project completion, the client immediately requested additional camera deployments to further expand surveillance coverage around the property due to the significant improvement in visibility, reliability, and operational value.
